Sun Tv has been telecasting RAMAYANA, the popular Indian epic. My mother, ILS everyone were stating 'Let us make hannu watch Ramayana'.Its better than watching this kanda kanda (cinemas and serials) shows in tv'. FYI hannu was just 6 months old when ramayana started. I too thought it as a good idea. So every sunday we all will gather before TV at sharp 10.30.
Hannu got attached to RAMAYANA very much. We narrate the happenings to him. His affiliation to music needs a word here. He likes all kinds of music esp. the ramayana title song. All of us have to sing that song to make him eat,drink,sleep whatever. Actually it made my life easy. For making him eat I just had to sing rather than running in his behind all over the house.
All the time he simply utters Rama, Jai sri ram..(he also got this 'rama' uttering habit from me..I say 'RAMA RAMA' when hannu does mischievous things.) All in my family (including me) were overwhelmed. Both pattis and thatis are fully in praise of Hannu. 'Parude kozhanthai sada kalamum RAMA cholaran..Maha Puniyam' (See the whole day the Lil one keeps uttering RAMA..May GOD BLESS HIM) my amma used to say.
All was going fine until Hannu watched Hanuman throwing his 'Gadha' saying 'Jai Sri Ram'. Hannu liked hanuman's act very much and started practicing this act throwing the things which were within reach shouting 'Jai Sri Ram'. Thats all..the whole house is upside down now and the worst part of it all of us have to learn the new gimmicks to protect ourselves from being hurt. Donno how long hannu's JAI SRI RAMA saga is going to continue. These days kids naa....
more mischevious things to coem from himw aiting for that..let the war come inr amayana serial then u will see... lolz..
