Amma & Hannu

I have never left hannu to stay without me during nights. Day time we both have to adjust as me being working. But leaving him with granny even for a night was unimaginable for me. As my parents were living few streets away from us, I used to bring him home whenever I am back from work. But now my parents shifted to a far away place this isn't feasible.

Last week my mil was not well and i had to take hannu to amma's place for a stay of 2 days. Spending that night without hannu was really bad. Can't ask appa to bring him home that evening and take him the next day. If I ask he will do but I did not want to bother him and strain hannu also. The next evening when I went to amma's home to take hannu back home, hannu's expression relieved how happy was he in seeing me. I asked my 20 months munna 'Whom did u sleep with hannu? Didnt you search for amma?' His replied 'Amma appechu'(Amma office. He is saying Amma you were in office so I had to spend my time with granny). I was so touched. How adjusting my lil darling is.

P.S I am working mother with full of guilty for leaving my munna at home. And I think i can write endless posts about our separation feelings :(
